For 25 years I was a Biological Anthropologist, teaching at Kent State University and doing research on the ecology and behavior of New World monkeys.  Some years ago, I resigned my tenured professorship and became a full-time fiber artist.   Since then I have exhibited my hand-dyed quilts in numerous solo, invited, and juried shows, and my work is included in many public and private collections.

AS AN ARTIST/BIOLOGIST, I LOOK FOR PATTERN IN NATURE
